Let’s say you want to call your mum ideally once a week, but not more often than that. You might want a reminder that reminds you each week, but that will automatically leave you alone for a week once you’ve called and caught up with her . So ideally: a weekly reminder (let’s say Thursday this week). But if you don’t call until Saturday, then it will automatically remind you a week on Saturday when you click complete. This way it will always remind you
one week after your last call
, rather than always on a Thursday.N

The problem is that it doesn’t work the way it is supposed to. I several tasks that are set to “On Completion” and they all regenerate in relation to the original due date rather than when the task actually was completed. For example, I have a task that is due every three days. It was due a couple of days ago but I didn’t get to it until today. When I swiped it as completed it generated the new task for tomorrow rather than three days from now.

Hey Alex, we have on completion repeats - just choose "On Completion" rather than "By Time"! :)
