Create a dark widget theme whereby you can choose the colour and opacity of the widget to match the colour of the background. This will also look nicer with the upcoming iOS 13 dark mode theme. This could apply to both the month and countdown widgets.

Sorry for the delay in closing this one - we've had dark mode widgets out since our iOS 13 release :)

I second this. Timepage and Actions are front and centre on my iPad and they currently look conspicuous and don't fit well. The attached screen shot illustrates this.
