Further Siri integration.

Hi everyone, late last year when iOS 12 was released we added support for a number of Siri Shortcuts! (Sorry for the delayed update - we're trying to get better at keeping Canny up to date!).
You can see in the screenshot that I use "What's on today?" for triggering a daily briefing. You can find our Siri Shortcuts in the menu in Timepage. We've also written a bit about this here: https://moleskinestudio.com/support/timepage/ios-12/shortcuts/ Please let us know if you have any more feedback/suggestions - on Canny, Twitter or timepage@moleskinestudio.com. Thanks!
Simon Burbidge
We've got some good news on this one. A lot of this is not possible using SiriKit on iOS11, but is going to be possible using Siri Shortcuts on iOS12. We're currently working on some great new features you'll be able to trigger using Siri including Daily Brief etc.

Yes! Please do!

I’d love to ask Siri for a daily briefing...

Could you please let us know why you'd like Siri integration directly with Timepage rather than the existing method via the Calendar app? I can't think of anything that SiriKit will allow us to do that the existing integration via the iOS Calendar will not.
In our testing, we find that calendar apps that have their own Siri integration tend to be difficult to talk to, and the system tends to fallback to the standard calendar integration anyway when it can't recognise the 3rd party app we're trying to communicate with.
Having said all that, we're really interested to hear your thoughts on this and will certainly consider doing it if it will be an improvement. Thanks!

Simon Burbidge: after reading that I suppose you’re right. As long as the calendar I’m adjusting with Siri via the stock app is being adjusted and synced which is certainly is, there isn’t a need for 3rd party integration. I suppose I’d rather have the ability to integrate reminders within the calendar in a unique way or even to do lists as well. I view Timepage as an app that’s like a daily space where I can view everything that pertains to my day or week or month. I retract my Siri request

Simon Burbidge: I think the only reason I’d like a Siri dedicated integration would be for a daily brief situation similar to the google Home or Alexa daily brief. A feature that currently apples Siri does not have and maybe timepage could create. One or more simple phrases that brings forward a spoken daily brief possibly? Or some sort of daily breakdown.

Simon Burbidge: Quite simple. I didn't realise that the native calendar would put Siri requests straight into timepage. Just tested it and it works! Thanks.
Drag and drop doesn't work however. Is it because it only works with iPad Pro?
Simon Burbidge
Martyn Longville: Excellent, really glad to help! We're always open to adding new features, but probably need to make the existing functionality known a bit better too!
Drag & drop should work on any iOS11 device. It is fairly limited at the moment, but will be much improved soon. If you could contact support via the app with some details about what's not working then I'll be able to help you in greater depth.
Simon Burbidge
Roberto Lagares: This is a really interesting idea. I'll take a look at what's possible. Currently Apple's SiriKit framework is quite limited in the specific phrases that we're able to use, but we may be able to mould it a little to fit our needs.

Simon Burbidge: you are right.
If would be great if I get a Reading from Siri about a remembering of sceduled actions and a daily briefing or warnings.
