Archiving is very important for Entreprenuerial types who may have many projects going, and at times need to drop or cancel them, or drop or cancel tasks. It would he nice to archive, such that one can keep a record of what was accomplished but also a record of what wasn't accomplished. Currently I have dozens of lists in Actions, of projects that have been conceptually archived, which continued presence in the UX makes Actions unpleasant to use. As such, I've just given up on lists for projects completely, and considering just moving everything into an "Archive" list instead, which unfortunately obfuscates project information and organisation.

This is one of the main reasons I’m not switching to Actions. I need to be able to create a list as a project and then archive it when said project is done.

Couldn't agree more. I would really like to have an archive function for tasks within lists! So I can look back within a list at all the tasks completed.

+1. An archive would be fantastic. I use separate lists for each of my projects, and when I finish a project, I don’t want the list to be visible any more, but I still want a record of the tasks that I did. An option to auto-archive when a list no longer has any incomplete tasks would be nice too (would have to be an option - not everyone would want this.)

It would be awesome if we had the option to archive lists. Currently once we’ve completed everything on a list, the only option is to delete it which remove all tasks on that list from the logbook, which isn’t ideal if you ever want to reference a list or see when something was completed.

Dean Kahremanis,
Definitely a need to archive, and restore archived lists/projects.
