I would use the heck out of a MacOS widget for Actions. Also for Timepage.
I work on my MacBook all day, sometimes with a second monitor, sometimes not. Either way, I do use the Actions desktop app. And while it's great and I depend on it once in the AM and once in the PM, throughout the day I'd love to be able to take a glance and remember what else I have planned, see what's coming next. I'm very particular about where I spend my attention, and opening up the app to just get a quick look simply isn't efficient. A widget that always sits on the desktop with today's tasks would be better.
As it is, to accomplish this with my calendar events I have to use the Apple and Outlook (my employer uses Outlook so I do, too) calendar widgets because there is no Timepage widget, either. I never even open those calendars, I just use them to provide a widget summary on my desktop. And while this isn't my favorite solution, at least I have one. In the case of Actions, however, there is no such solution. I simply have to open the full app and look at everything all at once, which is visually noisy and overwhelming for a moment that's supposed to be brief and focused, and it uses more of my attention than I'd like for that quick check-in with myself.
So please, a desktop widget for MacOS, OR at least an integration with Apple Reminders so I can use their widget would be wonderful.
Thank you!
