iOS sync with Reminders
Sanjiv Mehta
have recently started using time, page and actions as I loved the look and feel.
To my greatest surprise to bring my Reminders from iOS, I need to use import feature. Moreover, when used again it duplicates previous iOS reminders, which still exist there.
Wouldn’t it be prudent to have a sync between the two both ways? Look at apps such as Fantastical or miCal, which works seamlessly giving user the option to use either or? This is also typically required since one is not convinced of a shift and would prefer to have, data at both ends
Even by virtue of habit, one may use either or app at some point, but as long as it is synced and available, eventually user will get hooked on that which is more user-friendly and more pleasing to the eye
Strongly suggest same should be done as otherwise you have something which could compete with fantastical
May not be best to hear but across all review platforms Fantastical still seems numero uno but in look and features you seem better

No syncing, faulty importing

Are you going to take action? No syncing with reminders. Not even decent importing. A terrible SNAFU.

How is this app not synced with iOS Reminders

Come on guys….The interface is beautiful, tons of thought and care went into making this app but you essentially make it useless if it can’t integrate with iOS reminders. I’d imagine like most people I have a large variety of information that ends up in my Reminders app. If I’m going to use Actions, it has to have the ability to sync with reminders otherwise quite frankly it’s just a beautiful useless app. I work in the IT field, so I understand the level of complexity needed to integrate with iOS reminders and honestly, it’s confusing why this has not been done yet. With the amount of effort that was spent on the UI of the app why would you not spend the relatively short amount of time needed to sync with iOS reminders? If that was done, I could use the Actions app in replacement of the Reminders app. Not trying to come off harsh here, but I can’t recall even seeing a paid tasks/reminders app that doesn’t integrate with iOS reminders….Without that feature, there’s zero chance of me ever using this which is a bummer because I absolutely love the design and functionality. If you’re going to charge $25 there’s really no excuse. I’m not going to ask for a refund but I do feel a bit foolish for not checking that the app synched with reminders. I guess I just couldn’t imagine an app of this quality, in this category, not taking that simple step after being on the market for years. Please fix this one problem so myself and I’m sure thousands of other people can actually use this app.

While it is nice that you can import reminders, it would be really nice if they can continuously sync.

This and the lack of a native macOS Actions app are the two reasons I’m still using Fantastical. I would love to switch to this UI, but it’s not an option until these two needs are met.

Obviously sync from Reminders is the way to go…Make it the main focus or Reminders, with it’s limitation..becomes the better choice.

I need to see Apple reminders integrated with Timepage, either directly or on Actions, show I can see all my todo list and events in the same place. The new Mac OS Sequia will have all the reminders in the Calendar app. Does that mean reminders and events will all show up on TIMEPAGE?

If the sync won’t be possible in the next updates or if there won’t be an official announcement about a release date I will not continue my subscription of any moleskine app.

Given the new Apple wwdc announcements, if the sync does not happen I’m going to be cancelling my subscription.
The excuse of feature parity isn’t relevant any longer either.
The feature updates are so slow. For the money you are charging, it’s quite ridiculous at this point
