Ben Hamey: Great feature and one that has me looking to move from GoodNotes back to Flow. I do miss the ability to use my own stationary though....
Ben Hamey
Paul Usher : Thanks Paul – do you mean being able to import custom backgrounds for your documents? You can
sort of
do this in Flow by importing an image and sending it to the back then drawing on top of it - you'd have to duplicate it across to make multiple pages though. What kind of custom stationary do you like to use generally?Paul Usher
Ben Hamey: Hey Ben, I'm conscious of having additional resources being rendered just for the sake of it, but I'll try with just a small logo for now. Typically, I would create a custom lined page with company details (logo, web address), basically changing the 'template' of a page, meaning it automatically replicates on each new page.

Sorry guys, I moved to Trace. I like your pens and color but the lack of power in this app, just does not work for me as much as I want it to. I realize that flow is suppose to be a horizontal thinking motion but Trace allows one to scale, its ruler has a scale and I can layer, and change paper sizes so in effect it has the same linear motion included with a vertical system. Trace is a lot more powerful than Flow. I will keep my eye on your development as I am a big fan of moleskine sketchbooks. Thanks
Ben Hamey
Pat : No worries - it's a great app with some cool niche tools, Flow has always aimed to be a broader interpretation of a digital sketchbook. Just in case you missed it last year - Flow actually does do vertical documents now (you select orientation when creating a new document). It came with our big v2 release, there are quite a lot of big new features: https://moleskinestudio.com/support/flow/introduction/flow-2/ Do you mainly do architectural drawing? If you want a fresh trial to test our new functionality then just let me know and I'd be happy to help.

Flow: Draw a straight line with finger hold

Thom
In Flow, it’d be great to have the preference to draw a straight horizontal or vertical line while holding a finger on the screen.

Line and bezier curve tool

In addition to straight lines it would be nice to have smooth curves, French curve or bezier tool, this is a little different than a shape tool.

Ability to air brush in an area predefined by lasso or shapes selection (like with stencil in real life)

Doing air brushing without the ability to create zone/stencil with the cutter tool is very limiting and tedious. There could be predefined stencils you could chose from and then scale to suit but to keep it simple I think just using the cutter tool to define the area you want to air brush would be perfect.

If these three things were on this app it would save a lot of time and make it easer to draw bigger things
It would also have more people on this app then procreate because it is free but does the same things
