In today's V3 update, we have changed the way markers blend.
The chisel marker and round marker tools now apply their ink additively to the page, so when you draw with multiple passes the colour remains the same but increases in strength, whereas previously these tools would darken the page as you drew over a spot multiple times.
Check it out and let us know what you think!
It's available in the new V3 update out today including Layers, Desktop Viewer, Pressure Curves and more.

This would make my sketches much better fully in favour of this option, also to keep the airbrush from building up even at low opacity. Like a uniform glaze that doesn’t start covering up everything if it’s at quarter opacity.

I believe apple’s notes app does this somehow. It would be a nice inspiration for its simple and convincing results. Although we have a little build up on the opacity, it’s pretty much under control and it doesn’t get too dark...

Opacity would be ideal.
