Widget – Month Calendar (iOS 14 home screen style)
Add an iOS 14 home screen widget for the full calendar month view. Note: the previous full month widget is still available. Go to the old widget screen to the left of your home screen, then tap Edit on the bottom, then scroll back to the bottom and tap Customise. From here you can add edit the older style widgets.
On Day view, show overlapping events and free time.
I would love a simple illustration of overlapping events (especially when double-booked). I’d also love to easily see when I have free time. Even something as simple as smaller gap (or no gap) between overlapping events, and larger gaps between events that have more than an hour of free time between them.
Make Timepage faster
On the 6s Plus it takes me a good 4-5 seconds to open the app and then it still needs to refresh changes made to events... It's what keeps me from using the app more oftenly
Notes on Day
It would really be nice to be able to add notes to a particular day that are visable on the timeline page and aren’t connected to an event, but just a note on its own. Like others have said, it’s easy to miss that you had notes on “whatever” day because it’s hidden on a certain event. Most of the time, I don’t really want a note pinned to a particular event or specific time during the day, anyways. Otherwise, I really like the app!
Google Maps rather than apple maps when adding location to events
At the moment the app only offers the possibility to search for locations via apple maps when adding a location to an event. Unfortunately apple maps is not so good in my country. Is it possible to have an option to use google maps when searching for location (adding an event not directions)
After transitioning from month view to week view, show the current week feed.
Whenever I transition from the month view to week view, it always gets back to the previous week so I still have to press the down button so it will get back to the current week. I hope this gets solved.
Improve Event Geocoding
At the moment the geocoding only works if Event Location is added directly via the Timepage Location search results. There are 2 scenarios where the location address can be correctly entered as a fully qualified address, but the driving ETA and map directions buttons do not work. These scenarios are: 1) When you start typing the event location using one of your device Contacts. For example if I type John Smith, Timepage will list his address, but if I select it, it will not include the geocoding data and will not show the driving ETA and on the map the directions button will not work. It still shows the correct Pin position on the map however - so there is some geocoding happening in there somewhere. 2) When I am invited to an event by somebody else, the event location address can be perfectly typed out, but again Timepage will not include the Driving ETA and the map directions button will not work. But again the pin on the map is showing in the right place. It would be good if there is a way to ensure that these scenarios are catered for so that the geocoding data is present and the driving estimates + map directions buttons work as expected.
