As someone who does at home computing on macOS, but usually has to use Windows at work, my vote is a web app for Timepage, regardless of whether that ends up being the final or the intermediate desktop interface.
Simply put, it would most flexible, allowing for sign-ins from desktops that aren't your dedicated machine, regardless of platform (I suspect I'm not the only one with little to no choice regarding my work OS). If web push notifications is an option--as a non-developer, I have no idea how much of a pain that is to implement--that would basically give the cross-platform functionality that I'm looking for, since my work computer could ping me, even if my phone is on silent.
I do love the aesthetics of a desktop app, but, in terms of practicality, I can't really justify requesting a dedicated app over a web interface, especially if y'all are working with limited man-hours.
I know I‘m not the only one need the Timepage of macOS/desktop !!! And so glad to hear it's “in progress” !!! My wallet is allready ! Come on my favorite calendar & todolist APP!
Thanks for the update. Does that mean that there won't be a native macOS version of Actions?
Need Timepage on Mac OS please!!!!! Actions is great. Both need to be available in APP Store on MacBook!
I'm so happy to hear this! I hope it comes soon :) It's gonna be so worth the wait.
Thanks! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the message, and thank you for the web-access, that is already a step ahead. Keep up the good work! ;-)
Hi everyone, thanks so much for all your comments - it's really wonderful to see everyone's enthusiasm for a desktop version of Timepage! We don't always get a chance to respond to every comment so here is a general update of where we are at - our apologies for not commenting sooner.
It's a large undertaking and investment to build and release a Mac version of Timepage (regardless of Catalyst), and we're a small team - we're doing the best we can to prioritise.
Our plan is to release web and desktop version of Actions first, to enable syncing across iPhone, iPad, Android and Mac/Windows. We've recently taken a big step with this approach - you can access Actions on the web at https://actions.moleskinestudio.com
Timepage is currently iOS only, but it syncs with your calendar provider (Google/Apple/Exchange/etc) so you can use any calendar app you'd like on non-iOS devices and everything will stay up to date.
We are currently building a macOS version of Timepage but it's a huge project - so while we're hoping to release it this year we can't confirm a definite timeline just yet. Thanks again for your support and feedback, we'll keep you up to date as best we can!
@Alex Louden: Marvellous news! Thank you for the update! <3
@Alex Louden: Please make a web app and/or Windows version as well please
Most Definitely for MacOS... fallback would be web based. There’s a perceived advantage to a Mac app that obviously syncs across devices (at least in my world)
I am an original Timepage user (years and years now) and I simply cannot understand how Moleskine is missing the revenue opportunity that exists for a MacOS app. Apple released Catalyst for this purpose. Come on!
Fantastical is very close to getting my money if Msk are actually focusing on a web version, as the Actions web portal is ridiculously bad in terms of functionality, and it’s one time import from Reminders is worse. I want to pay you for your great products, make it possible!
