Display the date on the app icon

Hi there 
Is there a way to change the way the app icon displays current datę? I know it can place the figure into the app's badge but it too easy to be mistaken as they look exactly the same as notifications. Hope it's possible to add it.

Insted of having a number as a notification showing as the day, change it so the icon of the app show the day we are on

Many of us don’t like having a red badge to show us the current day because it feels like we have “unread” items. Please add an option of adding the day

inside

the app icon, similar to the iPhone native calendar app.

With the new possibility for developers to let users change the App Icon there should be a way to show the current day in the App Icon of Timepage

Hi all.
This specific feature is still not going to be possible in iOS14, however, the new widgets offer a great deal of flexibility.
The 4x4 widget, although larger than an app icon, is effectively a large and very dynamic icon, and we will be able to show a whole range of information on there. Tapping the widget will then open the app, just like an icon would.
Not possible to show as many on screen as you would icons, but I think for your key apps this will be a great solution, and one that we're very keen to support as soon as possible.
