I would also like an update on this, honestly every other calendar app is smoother and faster!

Agree, it seems to be getting slower with every update

This is seriously a #1 priority. It's making the app unusable

I sincerely hope this is still being looked at and planned. I absolutely love the app, but the refreshing and syncing issues are detrimental.

This is definitely what keeps me from using this as my primary app. This is even an issue on top of the line iPad Pro’s. Hopefully the app can be optimised to run faster. If the developers find that a particular aspect of the app is causing it (eg the animations, or the sound effects), perhaps give users the option to turn them off! That way users can find their own balance.

This is my main big issue with the app. Very annoying. Me the past year: “Yes lets plan something... hold on my calendar is still loading... still loading, almost there”

Im on iPhone 7, latest iOS.

I tried disabling all smart alerts, using no badge. Only using two calendars. No matter what I do, the splash screen sits for about 5 seconds on a cold start. This issue doesn’t follow to other 3rd party applications.

Maybe it would make sense to get rid of the splashscreen or make it optional. It has no real value.
